Who wants to leave a message
for someone who isn’t available?
What’s the point in that?
Doesn’t it make more sense
to send a message to one who can hear it,
who is available,
who is listening?
Are you ever available?
Were you?
Or was that just a charade:
Something to fool me into spending my life
with You alone.
With you, alone.
Available, while you’re unavailable.
